Just needed to say that our family is in mourning. Our family dog, Rosie, had to be put down. She hadnt been eating very good for a while and last week she started to cough up some blood. We noticed some really large bumps on her too. We took her into the vet and those bumps were her lymph nodes. every single one in her body were swollen, baseball sized. The vet had said that if only a few were swollen that it was some sort of an infection. But when every one is swollen it means that there is some sort of tumor or lymphoma going on. He suggested to get a biopsy and then others tests. The tests would have cost hundreds of dollars and the end result probably woulnt be very good. We decided to treat her with antibiotics and steroids which should have helped to shrink the lymph nodes, but didnt help. We have watched her go down hill in a week to not eating , shaking and, whimpering when ever she moved. She couldnt walk hardly. So sad and hard to see. So Ken decided she needed to be put down. It has been hard on Ken and Chase the most. I cant handle seeing them so sad. She was such a great dog. So good with the kids. She let Belle boss her around even and would listen to her. She was so smart too! I think the best hunting companion Ken has had besides his brothers. If you look at our family picture that we have by the lake she is in that. We will miss her.

Okay so I havent had a lot going on and very fer pictures have been taken. Dakota started soccer practice this week and I am so very excited to be able to go to his games! The games are all in the evening around 4:30- 5 ish. I had to work on the days where Chase's football games were but by the time Kotas game starts I wil be done with work ! Yeah! I cant wait and I will post some pictures. Chases report card came out and He has 4 A's! and the rest are B's! I guess paying 10 buck an A is enough of a motivator for now. His DR. also switched his Medicine to once a day instead of twice a day. WOO hOO! And then the last bit, I saw the weiner mobile while delivering mail in town on saturday! I took a pic so enjoy! I wish it would have stopped so I could have gotten close!

So I have had to go the Dentist lately and get some cavities filled. I really don't like the dentist. Well Belle asked me when can she go to the dentist. I said that I would make her an appointment. I told her what the dentist would count her teeth and brush them and see if they are healthy. She was really excited to go.... oh how innocent she is. I thought it would be a bad experience for her, maybe because it usually is for me. Well she loved it! She sat down in the chair and they moved it up and down like a ride and then put a thing around her neck and put some fun sun glasses on and kinda played around. Then the exam started and she was a wide mouth baby frog! She just sat there and held so still with her mouth open. Then the dentist said she had a cavity and her was going to take care of it right then. I thought she would freak out a little...but no! The dentist didn't use any shots or numbing at all! and she was still just fine! She was all done within 15 min. What a brave little girl I have! What a Chicken her momma is! Enjoy the pictures!
