Just needed to say that our family is in mourning. Our family dog, Rosie, had to be put down. She hadnt been eating very good for a while and last week she started to cough up some blood. We noticed some really large bumps on her too. We took her into the vet and those bumps were her lymph nodes. every single one in her body were swollen, baseball sized. The vet had said that if only a few were swollen that it was some sort of an infection. But when every one is swollen it means that there is some sort of tumor or lymphoma going on. He suggested to get a biopsy and then others tests. The tests would have cost hundreds of dollars and the end result probably woulnt be very good. We decided to treat her with antibiotics and steroids which should have helped to shrink the lymph nodes, but didnt help. We have watched her go down hill in a week to not eating , shaking and, whimpering when ever she moved. She couldnt walk hardly. So sad and hard to see. So Ken decided she needed to be put down. It has been hard on Ken and Chase the most. I cant handle seeing them so sad. She was such a great dog. So good with the kids. She let Belle boss her around even and would listen to her. She was so smart too! I think the best hunting companion Ken has had besides his brothers. If you look at our family picture that we have by the lake she is in that. We will miss her.

I'm sorry to hear about Rosie. We had to have our cat well sort of our cat put to sleep and it's not easy, but it's better for them. Hope you are all ok.

BTW-Sorry I missed your open house. We were on vacation. I definately want to smell the new ones though. Maybe you could bring them by my work. My boss might want some too.
